Herve Nganguia, Ph.D

Founder of Akili, Dr. Nganguia holds masters degrees in biomedical engineering and applied mathematics, from Columbia University in New York and San Diego State University, respectively. He earned his doctorate degree in Applied mathematics from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark. Dr. Nganguia has 13 years of experience in using numerical and analytical methods to solve various physical problems in biology and the life sciences. He also has more than 9 years of experience in data mining methods, with application in fields ranging from image analysis to computational biology.

Fabrice Soffack, MPH

CMO of Akili. An early investor, he is also the founder and executive director of the Angels & Doves foundation that provides services and training to empower women in developing countries. With more than 8 years of experience as nuclear medicine technologist, Fabrice Soffack holds a bachelor of science degree in health system management from the University of Baltimore, and a master degree in public health from the University of Maryland.

John Adjei

CTO of Akili. John has 15 years of experience in IT, software engineering and product development. He has spent the last 7 years managing teams that deliver enterprise solutions with organizations across the public and private sectors. He gets excited when discussing data transformation, streaming media, content digitization and distributed processing. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the City University of New York-College of Staten Island.
